Covid-19 What to expect when you come for treatment
In order to help reduce the risks for everyone, please observe the below protocols when attending the clinic:
DO NOT attend the clinic if you or someone in your household or your bubble develops a new persistent cough, fever or experiences loss/change of sense or taste or has had symptoms in the last 7 days. If you or anyone you know have these symptoms, follow government advice, self-isolate and cancel your appointment. There is no charge for cancelled appointments.
Please arrive on time for your appointment, on your own if possible and bring a mask. When you arrive at the practice please wait in your car. This is to maintain social distancing and reduce contact with others. We will come out of the practice to get you when the treatment room has been cleaned. Before you enter the practice please put on your mask, place any personal belongings you may have on the desk and wash and sanitise your hands.
The card machine is located in the hallway, if you prefer to pay by BACS our account number is 64842088 and sort code is 01-54-90 please remember to include your name so that we know who the payment is from. There has been a slight increase in fees due to the cost of PPE and the extra cleaning involved.
Hygiene at the clinic
- To reduce surface contact internal doors will be left open, the clinic room will be sanitised between every patient, this includes cleaning of the plinth, chairs, desk, payment machine and computer.
- No pillowcases or towels will be used during treatment and only a very limited amount of toys and books available for children. Please bring your own toys and snacks for children.
- Your osteopath will be wearing a fluid resistant face mask and a disposable apron and will thoroughly was their hands before and after each person.
