Milnthorpe and Kirkby Lonsdale clinics have comfortable waiting rooms with toys for children. Upon visiting the Osteopathic Centre we will take a full history and ask questions about the onset, progression and nature of your problem. You may be asked to perform a series of simple movements to assess mobility.
At the Osteopathic Centre you will be assessed using basic orthopaedic and neurological testing. This will tell us whether osteopathy is likely to improve your condition. If we feel that osteopathic treatment is not appropriate we will tell you, as not all conditions can be improved, and advise you an alternative approach. This may involve a referral back to your GP.
We will discuss your treatment plan and diagnosis with you. Treatment will always be tailored to your individual requirements taking into account your physical and emotional health. We can tailor treatments to your needs or preferences and can stop treatments at any point. Treatment can occasionally be uncomfortable – but should never be painful.
The Milnthorpe clinic has disabled access and easy parking. We stock neck care pillows, hot and cold packs, spikey balls, tape and thera-band.
Some insurance companies are covered, e.g. Simply Health, Aviva, Benenden and WPA, but we advise you to check in advance of treatment.

How to find us:
Approaching from the South
Exit M6 at Junction 35, take the first turning on the left towards Carnforth. Head down the dual carriageway and at the roundabout follow the roundabout around to the right following the signs for Kendal along the A6. At the next roundabout head straight on and go under a railway bridge. Stay on this road (A6) all the way to Milnthorpe. Follow the A6 into Milnthorpe. At the traffic lights, turn LEFT onto Park Road (to Arnside). You will pass Booths Supermarket on your right (a little set back from the road). Then look for ‘H&H REEDS Printers’ on your right, and turn RIGHT just before this building, into Bridge End Business Park.
The clinic is straight ahead, just to your right.

Follow the A6 into Milnthorpe. At the traffic lights, turn RIGHT onto Park Road (to Arnside). You will pass Booths Supermarket on your right (a little set back from the road). Then look for ‘H&H REEDS Printers’ on your right, and turn RIGHT just before this building, into Bridge End Business Park.
The clinic is straight ahead, just to your right.

Head into Lancaster and follow the oneway system towards the train station, continue past the train station on Meeting House Lane and turn right onto Fairfield Avenue turn immediately left and left again to enter into the back of the house. Please note parking is very restricted in the area.
